I started Play Press Zines out of my studio in West Oakland in 2016. I collaborate with artists to make their zines, posters, prints and stickers.
Play Press is an extension of my artistic process. This includes collaboration, critical analysis of representation and the promotion of physical, tactile experiences.
I often provide input on the layout and design of artists works, and the works are re-interpreted through the printing process.
Play Press Zines uses a very old Ricoh (risograph) and a Xerox printer. Many works are printed on old paper found at Estate Sales.
